Bees are a vital part to our ecosystems, but climate change and other environmental issues has caused bee populations to dwindle. Typically, bees won't work in temperatures above 100 degrees or below 55 degrees Fahrenheit. When temperatures reach upwards of 90 degrees, bees can easily get dehydrated and become sluggish. One way to help a struggling bee is to boost it's energy with a little sugar water. It is important that you not give a dehydrated bee the honey from your cupboards, as introducing honey foreign to their local hives can be deadly, and is dangerous to our ecological niches.
